History
The seeds of 501 CIO, LLC were planted in 2003 when David Cook began providing assistance to iMIS clients in the Atlanta area.  In 2007, he founded the company, formalizing what began several years earlier.

Company Philosophy
In order to truly serve the needs of our clients, we try to put ourselves in their shoes, to see things from their perspective.  Given that our president has 19 years in the not-for-profit sector, we are 99% successful in that approach.  As a result, our clients don’t see us as another vendor.  Rather, they see us as an extension of their staff.  Many of them list 501 CIO on their staff rosters.  In addition, some have invited us to their Christmas parties.  While these examples might seem trivial, they illustrate the way our clients really view us.
